The "Lastrup Sculpture," a steel sculpture located directly in the center of the roundabout, is by Alfred Gockel. Towards the shopping centers, there is also a memorial plaque commemorating Anton Witte's passive resistance during the Nazi era.

At Knipper's, a true treasure has stood the test of time: a magnificent, deep blue, gleaming Dutch tiled stove. With its artfully decorated tiles in a rich, dark blue, this rare masterpiece is far more than just a source of warmth – it is the centerpiece of the house's over 150-year history.

A long-term project for environmentally sustainable use in a historical context. Good to know: A Karlsgarten (Charlemagne's garden) is a garden that translates Charlemagne's garden concept from around 800—useful plants that should be cultivated sensibly—into the present day.

The Catholic church is open and can be visited. There's a "Church Creative Team" there who come up with great activities for the religious community. For example, holiday greetings from all over the world addressed to the church are currently on display.

Unfortunately, the church is usually closed and cannot be visited. However, for this relatively small town, it's truly an eye-catcher, and above all, it's only one of two!
