The path is passable again until the next storm. Monastery staff have repaired the wooden fence and the path has been patched up.

Somewhat loose gravel, but also good for riding with a gravel bike

For years you could go for a walk here. But tree felling work has been going on here for months - although this is no longer carried out by people, but by storms. This means: There are branches here and there on the path and you have to walk under fallen trees. And of course always listen and see if another branch comes loose. So do it at your own risk! At the lower end of the route, the municipality of Zangberg has repaired the railings and stairs.

At the Mößling airfield, 3 km north of Mühldorf, you can watch smaller aircraft take off and land. There is also an Italian restaurant that offers food "to go" (as of March 2021).

The beautiful monastery complex in Zangberg dates back to the year 1000. She has seen many changes throughout history. During the Second World War they wanted to build an ammunition factory here, and the corresponding forced laborers have already been shipped there. In 1946 the sisters were able to move in again. Today the building complex has several functions, in addition to the monastery operations, concerts are held in two magnificent halls.
