Immediately after the railway underpass on the B42, you enter the gorge. It becomes quiet, and all you can hear are the chirping of birds and the babbling of the Pulsbach stream. The path is very beautiful, but in places it's very narrow and steep, requiring surefootedness. I wouldn't walk it if it's wet. Here, we also come across the signs for the Rheinsteig trail, which then guide us to Prath.

The Pulsbach not only has this one very beautiful waterfall, but also many other small and medium-sized waterfalls. In rainy years, like 2024 and winter 2025, there is a very audible splashing and murmuring here and it looks simply amazing. The steep cliffs are decorated with mosses and ferns, which are beautifully green even in winter. Simply a great tour along the stream!!

The Schlössli Wörth (12th century castle with restaurant) was closed on December 22, 2024 for an indefinite period (for the purpose of handing over the catering business)

After the Wunschwasser waterfall, the route unfortunately does not continue above St. Goar at the moment. The hiking trail to Biebernheim is closed. You have to take the path directly to Rheinfels Castle.

a perfect break spot. The small waterfall is particularly pretty, in my opinion. The water is ALWAYS very clear.

Lots of adventure options, but not cheap and very overcrowded on nice weekends.
