The Jan Karski Boulevard is one of the sections of the Vistula boulevards. It stretches between the Śląsko-Dąbrowski and Gdański bridges. It is a popular promenade with benches, gazebos, pergolas and a viewing terrace. Boats and barges are moored at the boulevard, and the promenade itself is connected to the Old Town by underground passages.

On February 14, 2015, a fire broke out on the Praga section of the Łazienkowski Bridge, where planks used during the renovation were stored. The fire spread to the wooden technical platforms and spread to the left bank of the bridge. The structure of two and a half spans of the bridge, the surface of the left-hand traffic lanes and the water main were destroyed. 144 firefighters participated in the rescue operation, and the fire was extinguished after 12 hours. The bridge was closed for repairs. The expert opinion showed that the fire, with a temperature of up to 1,000 degrees Celsius, caused damage to the steel structure, which required the dismantling of the destroyed elements and the construction of a new structure on the preserved pillars. The cost of the repair was estimated at PLN 180-210 million. The contract for the renovation was signed in April 2015, and the bridge was reopened to traffic on October 28, 2015. The exit to ul. The Jan Karski Boulevard is a space in Warsaw, located on the left bank of the Vistula, from the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge to the Gdański Bridge. The boulevard is named after Jan Karski (born Jan Kozielewski), a lawyer, diplomat and courier of the Polish Underground State. Karski witnessed the Holocaust and reported on the situation of Jews, and also visited the Warsaw Ghetto and the extermination camp in Bełżec. After the war, he remained in the United States, where he lectured at Georgetown University. He died in 2000.

Gdański Bridge – a two-level steel bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw, part of the city centre bypass. It was built in 1957–1959 on the pillars of the first bridge under the Citadel.

The Świętokrzyski Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Warsaw over the Vistula River, connecting Śródmieście and Praga-Północ. It is 479 meters long and is supported by a 90-meter pylon, from which 48 cables hang supporting the structure. Built in 1998-2000 by Mostostal Warszawa, it cost about PLN 160 million and replaced the Syrena Bridge. It is considered the best adapted to bicycle traffic in the city. In 2001, it was the venue for a Tangerine Dream concert. In 2009, there was controversy over the protection of the name and image of the bridge. The bridge appears in films and music videos, including "Nigdy w życia!" and "Razem, a zawsze pobocz" by Ich Troje.

The Łazienkowski Bridge in Warsaw, built between 1971 and 1974, is part of the Łazienkowska Route. Initially named after Gen. Zygmunt Berling (1981–1998), the bridge underwent numerous renovations, including after fires in 1975 and 2015. After the latter, the damaged structure was replaced. In 2017, footbridges for pedestrians and cyclists were added. The bridge has a steel structure and has served as a national and European road. It was designed by a team of engineers led by Jerzy Mazur, and its construction was crucial for improving traffic in the capital.

The Kazimierz Górski National Stadium, opened on 29 January 2012, is a multifunctional sports facility that was built in 2008–2011 on the site of the 10th Anniversary Stadium. It has 58,580 seats and can accommodate up to 72,900 people during music events. It was designed by a consortium of JSK Architekci and Gerkan, Marg und Partner offices. The stadium is used for sports events, concerts and other events, and also serves as an office, retail and catering facility. The facility is characterized by a fiberglass roof and a unique façade referring to the Polish flag. The stadium has the largest conference center in Warsaw, an underground car park for 1,765 cars and numerous amenities such as disabled parking, restaurants and VIP boxes. The roof of the stadium is partially openable, and there is a multi-denominational chapel on the minus three level.
