이 십자가는 2023년 지역 협회인 Burgebrach에 의해 의도적인 파괴 이후 재건되었으며, 머물기 좋은 휴식 공간이 조성되었습니다. "Am Hölzernen Kreuz"라는 숲 구역에 위치한 것으로 보아 이전 시대에도 이곳에 선행 십자가가 있었을 가능성을 시사합니다. 현지인들은 이 장소를 단순히 "Hölzernes Kreuz"라고 부릅니다.

Its existence is first documented in 1736, when the church's accounts record 2 guilders and 46 kreuzers from the offering box as income. Pilgrims have been demonstrably gathering at this site on July 26th, St. Anne's Day, since 1840. The new chapel was consecrated by Canon Schmitt on July 26, 1952.

1.5 km west of Schönbrunn, in an idyllic clearing in the "Kapellenschlag" forest, stands a small wayside chapel dedicated to St. Anne. The exact date of its construction is unknown. It is said that a farmer from Oberneuses built the chapel out of gratitude because his cattle were spared from the rinderpest. Its existence was first documented in 1736, when the church foundation's accounts recorded 2 guilders and 46 kreuzers from the offering box as income.
