Largtalbahn: Dannemarie–Pfetterhouse–Bonfol 이 노선은 독일어로 Largtalbahn 또는 Bahnstrecke Dannemarie–Pfetterhouse라고 불렸습니다. Dannemarie(Dammerkirch)에서 Largtal을 거쳐 Dannemarie → Altenach → Mertzen → Friesen → Seppois-le-Bas → Pfetterhouse → 스위스 국경 → Bonfol → Porrentruy로 이어졌습니다. 프랑스 구간은 약 20km 길이였습니다. 이 노선은 1910년에 개통되었으며 처음에는 당시 독일 제국 내 또는 독일 제국과 스위스 간의 연결선이었습니다.노선이 건설될 당시 알자스는 아직 독일 제국에 속해 있었습니다. Pfetterhouse와 Bonfol 간의 철도 연결에 대한 국가 조약은 1906년 독일 제국과 스위스 간에 체결되었습니다.제1차 세계 대전이 시작되면서 국경 교통이 중단되었습니다. Mörsberg Castle, sometimes called the "Alsatian Pierrefonds," contains impressive remains of the defensive structures surrounding its keep: the flanking tower, which defended the former lodge with several window openings, and the enormous vaulted cellar, more than 50 meters long.

This former railway line is now a car-free cycle path that takes you from Dannemarie to Pfetterhouse, past ponds, forests and typical villages of the Sundgau. The route is slightly undulating and well paved. You cycle through one of the most rural parts of Alsace, with plenty of chance to spot herons, dragonflies and carp.

Nestled in lush greenery, Morimont Castle was first mentioned in 1183 and controlled the upper Largue valley. It was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War by French troops. The site is currently closed to the public due to work. You will nevertheless be able to tour the ruins and see the interior of the castle and its vaulted cellar through the gates.

Although the path on the former railway line is rather unspectacular, it still has exciting things to offer. You can easily imagine that trains once ran here.
