Not a spectacular climb. But a beautiful rural area.

The altitude of this summit allows you, when weather conditions are favorable, to appreciate the fog from the sky.

From the opposite bank you have a great view of the historic town of Saint-Ursanne. A sublime moment when you cross the stone bridge and through the gate into the city.

Pass at 827m. Just below there is a source of drinking water to replenish the water supplies.

The city entrance via the St.-Jean bridge is a great photo opportunity.

Mont Crosin is one of the highest peaks in the Bernese Jura. The ascent already begins when you come from the south (VILLIERS), at the entrance to the village with a steep ramp to the center of the village. Now you follow the road to TRAMELAN and the ascent runs in the wooded ascent over 5.7 kilometers with an average of 7%. At the top you can see the Jura in the direction of TRAMELAN. There are quite a few motorbikes on weekends, but highly recommended.

Saint Ursanne is a town with a very special flair. In summer we swim in the Doubs - a very special experience for me. We had dinner at the Hôtel Restaurant les Deux Clefs - also a very special experience. A beautiful restaurant and a super nice boss. I can particularly recommend the path along the Doubs to Soubey - beautiful with sandy shores and swimming opportunities. I have never seen fewer people anywhere else.
