A welcoming place with more than reasonable prices.

According to the website, the hut will be open to guests this summer (2025) for meals and overnight stays. Unfortunately, on June 22nd, it was still closed.

This refuge is located in the Chablais massif, very close to the GR 5. It is a good stopover point to discover the forests, mountain pastures and peaks in the surrounding area. It has 44 beds (reduced to 20 during the winter period). The refuge provides a kitchen area (without a fridge) to allow you to prepare your meals. Excellent viewpoint before a steep descent.

Chalet with a few benches in front of the door. Here you can buy cheese directly from the producer - I highly recommend Bernex. The people are friendly and helpful! In front of the door is the last possibility to fill up with water before crossing the Dent d'Oche.

The refuge is really nice, and the small terrace overlooks a "mini lake" that has more or less water depending on the weather. Tip: The restaurant also serves all kinds of Belgian food - from Belgian beers to waffles, the Gaufrettes. It's really worth it. Nice view of Lake Geneva! Ibex were there as ordered! Unfortunately there was only homemade yoghurt / quark and no cake at the hut.

Pleasant farm to hydrate or eat a piece of cheese. Halfway between Leysin and La Berneuse or La Riondaz.
