Graham McCulloch Ditch used to be known by the more bucolic name of Cranberry Creek. The ditch was constructed by erecting large earthen walls around Cranberry Creek as it flows through Eagle Marsh to help drain the upland Great Marsh in the late 1800s.

At Fox Island you will find a visitor's center, wetland forests, sand dunes, seasonal ponds, and a wide variety of wildlife. Parking is $2 but well worth it.

There is a swimming beach, playground, bathrooms, and picnic area along the southern end of the pond. You can hike along the northern shore through beautiful forest trails.
