The Soldier's Chalet is an idyllic place to stock up on supplies and enjoy the panoramas of the Gastlosen. The chalet is open between May 15 and November 1.

The Berghaus Wispile is located high above Gstaad and offers breathtaking views of the Saanenland and the surrounding Alps. A very nice hut to spend the night. It is always run by other volunteers. Go outside at dusk to watch the chamois graze. Please note: they only sell snacks and drinks here, so bring your own meals. You can spend the night comfortably but basic on the top floor.
