The new equilateral cross made of clay balls is emblazoned at a height of 879 meters. This extraordinary summit marking was set up by the Leopoldschlag Beautification Association. The summit cross is on a marked hiking trail. You can get to the top of the mountain via hiking trail L3 as well as hiking trail L1. The hiking trails start at the market square. There is also free parking here. The walking time to the summit is 75 minutes. Except for the last 500 m, the hiking trail is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The last ascent to the mountain is quite feasible with an all-terrain stroller, wheelchair users are not advised. A cross consisting of a granite boulder as a base. This was found near the Kollerfelsen (Leopoldschlägerberg) and prepared for moving by the Friepess company. The 2x2m stainless steel cross, manufactured by Magerl, was attached to the boulder. 24 clay balls complete the cross. The clay balls were made by the Leopoldschlägerin Heidi Pletzenauer.
