Stokkelandsvatnet is a lake located in Ganddal, Sandnes. The loop the water shore is about 4 kilometers long on a flat, well-maintained gravel path, making it perfect for walking, running, or cycling. The area is known for its rich birdlife, often visible from the trail. It connects seamlessly to the end of Sandvedparken, allowing you to extend your route from the city center.

Fjermestadvatnet is a scenic lake tucked away just west of Ålgård. A popular hiking trail takes you around the entire lake, offering a varied journey through lush farmland, peaceful forests, and well-maintained gravel paths.

Perfect for overnight stay. The lake is not suitable for drinking, cleaning or swimming. Please make sure to bring enough water with you. There is a public toilet with running water nearby at Grodaland. For more information, check the information board at Building No. 7 (the one with the red door).

A nice place to stop for a rest or a swim if the weather is nice. There is plenty of wildlife to spot and some refreshment options in the nearby town.

Unfortunately the roof is no longer completely watertight. But it still offers good protection from the rain.

A great and mostly flat gravel path along the lake. It goes through forest and meadows, rolls wonderfully.
