The Peirón de la Virgen del Pilar in Orcajo is one of the most unique peirones in the region. Located at the fork in the road to the Santed mountain pass, which leads to some fields.

The La Tranquera Reservoir in Nuévalos is a spectacular place to enjoy nature and panoramic views. Inaugurated in 1959, the reservoir was designed to regulate the flow of the Piedra River and ensure the water supply in the region.

The railway line is easy to do by bike, with a few pushing sections. The tunnels are open and the bridge is passable (2.2025). There is no need to wade through rivers or carry your bike!

Unfortunately, the railway line has not yet been expanded.

If you are coming from the south and don't feel like spending the evening, you will unfortunately have to leave the railway line here.

This town is the largest in the Gallocanta area, it has some noble buildings well preserved and worth seeing. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

There were a few thorny vines dangling on this part of the trail. But it was a short section, very scenic next to River with rocky banks on the side. If you are not in a hurry, walk your bike and enjoy the scenery.
