The Silver Route (Vía Verde de la Plata) in the Port of Béjar is part of the old Astorga–Plasencia railway line, now a nature trail for hiking and cycling. Don't miss the Little Station: a bar/restaurant in the old station, with a terrace and railway atmosphere (open during tourist season).

Although its current structure is medieval (12th–13th centuries), it is believed to have been built on Roman foundations.

Easy bike ride. Beautiful nature and views. Hervas is a nice and beautiful city. Bike path on old railway line easily passable. Tunnel was lit (but slippery clay soil with hard grooves, so be careful).

This stretch is very pleasant to do and with beautiful scenery and views.

A spectacular place to ride a bike, a small port with a constant slope, but with spectacular views. Be careful on the descent because the road is not in the best possible condition, lots of gravel and the occasional pothole.
