Nice park on State Line Lake with baseball field, picnic shelters, playgrounds, views of the lake and I think there is a boat launch here too, I didn't get back to it, as the roads were a little icy, muddy, etc,

Small boat launch on State Line Lake. Not a lot of parking, but it was cool to see the lake. Kind of pot holey road, I wound up using the same road in and out, to skip the pot holes.

I love this gravel and asphalt road, it's one of the highlights of this ride. It's a lake access road for the houses to put their boats in and stuff, but makes for a beautiful bike ride.

Always a nice landmark, water towers are usually visible from a long ways a way and are usually on top of hills.

Nice big picnic shelter that would keep you out of the elements and has a double sided fireplace in it.

Lots of parking, a big picnic shelter and some separate picnic areas outside the shelter.

Making a road biking version of this also. Can't wait for this trial to be completely connected to the state park!

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has developed a Hiking Club program that features a trail in each of its 68 state parks and recreational areas (https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/clubs.html). Sometimes the trailhead for these hikes can be tricky to find, so here is the trailhead for the Myre-Big Island State Park Hiking Club trail. There is a marker with a password somewhere along the length of the trail, but I am not going to reveal that. You have to find it yourself!
