Fieldstone church from the 14th century. East gable with blind niches in brick construction. Neo-Gothic west tower.

The fieldstone chapel from the 12th century was the only building to survive the great fire of 1849.

There are many renovated half-timbered houses

The High Church is the traditional centre and landmark of the twelve Lemgow villages. It was probably built around 1300 by monks from the Diesdorf (Altmark) monastery. The tower may be a little younger.

Here you are at the top of the so-called Jahrsauer Sack. So named because the GDR area protruded into Lower Saxony in the form of a sack.

At the beginning of the 17th century, Trabuhn also had a chapel. The St. Ursula Chapel stood at the entrance to the Rundling. Today there is an open belfry here.

In Trabuhn we find a real Rundling, which is very well preserved. Many of the beautiful half-timbered houses from 1850 have been restored. The pedunculate oaks planted in 1864 are also in full splendour. The Rundling invites you to linger.

In the days of the Emperor (1882), the "Imperial Post Office" was located in this historical cross-hall house with a hall from the 1960s. Until 1996 the building was used as a restaurant and was known to many as "Lemgower Hof".
