Here, the power of water is vividly visible. The melting water at the end of the Ice Age 25,000 years ago set rocks in rotation for about 10,000 years, thereby grinding out the glacial potholes. These have been excavated since the 1990s. Access is free.

From Cavaglia train station, it's only a ten-minute walk to the Glacier Garden. There, you'll discover the impressive glacial mills formed over millennia on a circular trail. The Glacier Garden is open from May 1 to October 31 and is free to visit. Guided tours depart from the train station at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Clà Ferrovia also has a station here. Can you find it and solve the challenge?

Glacier Garden, Cavaglia (Poschiavo) A natural gem, the pots of the giants, carved out by glaciers during the Ice Ages, located in the Cavaglia basin at the foot of the Bernina massif, dominated by Piz Palü! Access to the glacial moulins is extremely easy: they are located near the train station, which can be reached on the legendary "trenino rosso" (red train), a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. The Glacier Garden is open from May to October. Surrounded by lush flora and diverse alpine vegetation, the glacial moulins are among the most impressive sights the Poschiavo Valley has to offer!
