A very beautiful quarry that also serves as a breeding ground for birds. So be careful and pay attention to the signs. Access from Hoppenstedt train station is blocked on Komoot, but access is officially signposted (at least at the barrier). Probably a mistake and only the area that is fenced in anyway is meant. Access from the west is very nice.

a fantastic section, at this point the Oker flows in a few bends, and there are also smaller rapids. If you are a little tired, you can rest on the bench there. I was just amazed when I saw this place.
