Impressive former quarry on the Hörnle. Thanks to a citizens' initiative in the 1960s, the Hörnle was not completely removed. Because that could have happened from the Dettinger side. So we have a unique natural paradise on the Albtrauf between Dettingen, Hülben and Neuffen.

Ideal for cycling or hiking breaks. The bank is right by the pond with its many water lilies and all kinds of animals. Among other things, coots breed here and there are a lot of frogs. Opposite, on the other side of the pond, there is another bench, which is a little higher up and offers a view of the pond from above.
