I've ridden this ditch a few times. It's true. It's relatively narrow, and in certain places, it's really impossible to ride without dismounting. But, the route along the ditch is simply beautiful. On the other hand, I highly recommend the "Heidenwuhre" (Heathen Wuhre). There, you can actually dismount, except for about three times, and ride over the roots for a full 6 kilometers.

Cool bike park for beginners too! You can bypass the difficult passages well. If you look at the individual courses beforehand, you can choose the line that suits you best and have a lot of fun. Signage could be a little better in some places, but is still clear.

1965 on the quarry site on the Dossenbacherstrasse for the first time in Schopfheim the moto-cross race carried out. 1971 was a milestone in the history of Schopfheimer motocross, as the first time teams were at the start. In 1975, another highlight was reached, with the 10th Schopfheimer Moto-Cross in the 125cc solo class and in the sidecar class, it was about points to the German championship. 1976-1978 DM runs took place in Schopfheim. In 1983, the "Grand Prix of Germany", and more than 12,000 spectators in bright sunshine, three broadcasters and several broadcasting teams held an exciting race. Other top-class events were held in the Dossenbacherstrasse, including 1985 two sidecar class races and 1987/88 further races to the German championship. Since then motocross races in Schopfheim have a long tradition and are an annual fixture in the motocross racing calendar. Source. M.S.C. club history

Very nice sections that you can ride with the MTB and practice. Narrow, roots and corners and edges, but only cool. Certainly not suitable for everyone equally well to follow with the MTB the Wühre. But an attempt is worth it anyway.
