A few years ago, the gardeners of Mainau created a flowerbed in the shape of Lake Constance on the slope along the waterfront garden, which brings the geography of the Swabian Sea closer to us in a floral way.

At the end of October, the signs for the Lake Constance locations were still up and the outline of Lake Constance was recognizable. Unfortunately, nothing has bloomed anymore, but the idea for the summer is great.

Beautiful steel tower. From the platform you have a wonderful view. At the foot of the tower there are numerous seating options, some of which are covered.

I can't resist and just have to quote the incomparable humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909 - 1979), who was known to a wide audience for his wit and "another poem", with a short quatrain: "Trees, trees, nothing but trees, and in between - spaces.
