Since there's a new bike path on the ascent side, the Geislinger Steige can finally be recommended. Coming from the top, you have to turn off towards Türkheim to catch the start, otherwise you won't be able to find it. From below, it's much harder to miss it 😜

There's now a very good bike path next to the main road. The older tips posted here no longer reflect reality.

There is an ice cream machine here and it is worth stopping.

New cycle path directly on the road

The classic on the road only downhill when there is little traffic. When going uphill, definitely prefer the parallel cycle path along the Muhlkanal.

Wonderful, low-traffic descent to Bad Ditzenbach. With mountains all around, you roll along a stream into the valley on good asphalt - perfect for enjoying. Almost gives you an Allgäu feeling.

Great rock with several holes that are an experience for the whole family. Surefootedness is a must, then it's a great place to discover hiding places. Was already a popular place when I was a child.
