Nice and swampy and also full of mosquitoes. The Upstallfließ is one of several streams and flows into the Hellsee.

The entrance to the heath area is beautifully designed. Motorized hikers are informed by timely signs about the parking facility, which is located directly at the entrance area.

⚠️mostly closed off⚠️ For nature conservation, the Upstallfliess was almost completely closed off. Hikers who come expecting a Briesetal might be disappointed

Unfortunately, access to the shore area is largely blocked by a wire fence. Serves to protect nature. Please note. At the end of the fence there is a small entrance for interested hikers at the beaver dam. Nice photo motif.

The Finow is not a swampy river and does not come from the Hellmühler river. The Finow begins as the outflow of the Regensee west of Biesenthal, is approx. 13.7 km long and flows into the Finow Canal west of Finowfurth. It is the remnant of what used to be a 45 km long left tributary of the Oder. From Finowfurth it was expanded into the Finow Canal.
