Lake Gehron is a shallow water lake with a floating bog and a large, closed reed belt bordered by swamp forest and wet meadows. Rare plant communities that are threatened grow here. The lake was placed under nature protection as a breeding and feeding area for bird species and for mammals, amphibians and reptiles bound to aquatic habitats. That's why bathing is forbidden, but you can take a wonderful rest here.
