Attention, risk of accidents due to the sometimes high edges of the paving stones on the country lanes. But no reason to avoid the otherwise great tour.

The round around the Wutzsee is really worth it: - Garden lovers will find the "Garden of the Book" on the site of the monastery ruins interesting, - the hiking trail goes directly along the shore and is possible at any time with 8-9 km, - Cyclists take the path a little further up - if you want, you can bathe in the very clean water - and at the end you can enjoy the view of the monastery and the lake with coffee and cake in the garden restaurant and learn something about the legend of the two lovers for whom the sculpture in the water stands.

Beautiful lake (one of three in Lindow) that can be walked around in just over an hour. Many beautiful (private) jetties all around, but also open swimming areas. In the forest around it is pleasantly shady in summer.

Unfortunately not to be recommended. We were very badly disappointed. Called and reserved a seat with the owner's wife. Also said that we would come with a group. Anglers have to pay € 10. Since there were 2 anglers among us, we paid 20 € in an envelope to the cash register. The owner gave us a friendly welcome and wished us a lot of fun. After an hour he came back to our place and said that we were too big a group and that 4 cars would not go at all, although everything had been discussed with the woman beforehand. We should pack our things and go home. When we asked if we would get the 20 € back, he said that there was only 10 € in the envelope. And even that we didn't get back. Just a cheek. This is pure money rip-off. He also chased others off the pitch. Unfortunately, the owner is only out for the money.
