The valley is a real challenge for all organic cyclists from Saalfeld and the surrounding area. There is a small road up from Saalfeld, long and steep, with a few gullies. But there are few cars and a great view when you finally get to the top. Short climb (approx. 140m) - partly not very busy. Watch out for cars / motorcycles that like to cut the corners

From Hüttensteinach, head towards Judenbach for 13 km with a 4-6% uphill gradient to the Wildberg saddle at 735 m. Can be driven quite well, as the gradient is even. In the opposite direction, it is certainly a great descent, which should nevertheless be enjoyed with caution the first time.

nice low mountain pass, flat enough that the road is almost straight. You can still feel the incline :)
