Historical circular hiking trail Leistadt. On winding paths through chestnuts, pines and heather, there are mysterious places made of sandstone, all of which tell wondrous stories for young and old. (6) Love mailbox: Old legends promise that lonely virgins who post a leaf will find a suitor. (7) Wallet: Whoever adds a stone to this crack in the rock will become rich.

A great hiking trail to walk. It leads through a wonderful vineyard landscape.

More than 1800 years ago the rock was used by the Romans as a quarry. Stone coffins are said to have been made from its stone, as well as parts of the city wall of the former imperial city of Worms am Rhein. In any case, the Krumholzer Stuhl also served as an important boundary mark for the Ganerben, as evidenced by numerous boundary marks in the stone.
