Nevertheless, you'll often see intelligent beasts packing their brains into their saddlebags at the sign and speeding through like a monkey stung by a wasp 🤬 – which isn't surprising, considering that cyclists are often perceived as a nuisance. Protection status From Treßsee to Tüdal, the area along the Treene is part of the Upper Treenelandschaft nature conservation project, which is up to 20 km² in size. To the north of the lake is the Düne am Treßsee nature reserve.

The big loop at Treßsee is almost 2 km long. The round begins at the small 🅿️. From the sandy hills of the heathland, with hardly any higher vegetation, you can enjoy the panoramic view in all directions.

And don't forget mosquito and tick spray in summer.
