Not much going on here, a very pleasant climb, as the gradient is never too steep, but it's a long ride. A dream for a long descent!

Here at the small pass the old road from Kirchhausen to Sallneck runs. The view goes over the small hamlet Kirchhausen (belongs to the municipality of Steinen) far out to Basel

Good starting point for hikes to Kandern or through the Höllschlucht to Endenburg. An information table serves for orientation.

The hiking car park is located directly on the Scheideck Pass

Calling this place a war memorial when it's officially called Scheideck... At least that's my suggestion for this place. Nothing special here. But it's a great place to start some tours.

Going down here is worth every effort.
