Beautiful trail that becomes increasingly narrow from Sandershausen to the smugglers' gorge. No problem at the beginning even with the touring bike, towards the end there were also narrow, rooty passages that I gave up on my gravel bike and pushed briefly. Definitely worth a detour through the scenery!

It's always fun to let it fly on the trail, very varied surfaces. Whether you are a pro or a beginner, everyone will like it! Just watch out for hikers and/or horses as it is a signposted trail.

The tour is great, has about 16km and 700 meters of altitude difference from Ahnatal, you then made 40 to 50 which is really fun, is created by the Hessen forest and is also maintained by the communities, so it can be driven on all year round... Great round

Certainly the highlight around the Königsalm. The trail is not necessarily mega-steep, but offers all the surface conditions that you could "wish for". 😊Rooty, rocky, a few small kickers - in short, wonderful flow from top to bottom! 🤙🏼😊

A year later and the trail isn't really what it used to be.😔 It even went so far that I couldn't even get started at first. I don't want to say more about that. 🤬
