A wonderful destination near Wernsbach. Very beautiful and numerous trails around it. Ideal for practicing in the beautiful surroundings of the old sandstone quarry.

The Affenfelsen Trail would actually be a really beautiful single trail through the forest, but it is currently (12/2023) pretty much damaged by the forest workers. Hopefully they'll clear up their mess again by spring.

The old Steinbruck is really a beautiful, mystical place in the forest and a dream for single trail fans.

Personally, I prefer to drive it from bottom to top, it's simply more demanding and sportier. I take the entrance from the old people's home deck. The trail has now become very narrow in some places. Drive with concentration here, as the “abyss” should not be underestimated. It really is a highlight here in the region. Another tip for those driving down: take a detour via Mauk to the Petersgmünder Weiher and walk around it.

Great trail with some pitfalls; just before reaching the lake, nasty roots lurk behind a hilltop.

Great trail and, as already described, pay attention to the width of the handlebars, it gets pretty narrow in some places.
