The Steinerne Rinne near Wolfsbronn is spectacular. It is 120 meters long. It starts at around 680 meters above sea level and runs downhill in gentle bends and waves to 600 meters above sea level. The water then flows out of the channel and finds its way across the forest floor. The channel is made of calcareous tuff, on which the spring water makes its way down the channel into the valley. The lime deposits allow the channel bed to grow.

Coming from Doosweiher, I was missing an arrow today and got lost at the intersection. The path goes across the street and continues there. The arrows were not clear or there were arrows that were not visible due to overgrowth. 🤣
