The Wendelstein is a 1838 m above sea level mountain in the Bavarian Alps. It belongs to the Mangfall Mountains, the eastern part of the Bavarian Prealps. It is the highest peak in the Wendelstein massif. Due to its exposed location, it offers a very good view of the Bavarian Alpine foothills and can be seen from afar.
