The Tälsee lake is beautiful in every season.

The slope was designated a nature reserve to preserve the typical juniper heath, which was formerly used extensively as sheep pasture. It is part of the Natura 2000 site "Horber Neckarhänge". Characteristic habitats include semi-dry grassland and open heath with many typical species.

Four magnificent sequoia trees that have developed particularly well here. Only when you stand directly in front of them do you truly grasp the true size of these giants.

As part of the land consolidation process (1974 - 1992), the main project of the landscape conservation measures was undoubtedly the reservoir in the valley. Construction work began in the spring of 1980 and the first dam was built on March 12, 1981. The project was completed with the planting in the spring of 1982.

Former beer cellar of the Sonnenwirt At the entrance to the Eutinger Tal, at least five beer cellars were carved into the shell limestone, in which the innkeepers kept their freshly brewed beer at a constant temperature. At the end of the cellars, a chimney-like shaft provided ventilation. Bat cellar Abandoned beer cellars are winter quarters for various bats (e.g. the local barbastelle bat) and amphibians (e.g. fire salamander), which depend on a frost-free and undisturbed retreat.
