Always a beautiful place on the Mangfall near Grubmühle. For me, the rapids were the middle of my hike from Darching to Bruckmühl today. Absolutely to recommend.

In damp weather or after rain, be sure to wear STURDY SHOES and take a walking stick with you. The interior of Mangfallknie is a beautiful natural wilderness, the trails are not "maintained" (fortunately). Absolutely not suitable for people with restricted mobility, small children, prams, mountain bikes, etc. They prefer to stay on the wider forest paths. The knee is a wild experience - keep it!

A complete disaster. The path was so muddy in places that it even took our shoes off. They just got stuck. We also had to be prepared for some climbing, as the path is completely unmaintained and there are quite large trees lying in the middle of the path. I can't recommend this path at all.

The Georgenstein, formerly Georgstein or Georgenfels, is a large boulder in the river bed of the Isar east of Baierbrunn in the district of Munich, which protrudes around five meters high out of the water. The stone represented a feared obstacle at the time of rafting on the Isar. On the rock itself there is an image of Saint George at the top. 👍

A lovely walk. The rapids are always a highlight. There are always nice swimming spots.

Bathing area on the Isar with a pebble beach. Depending on the depth of the water, however, the current can be considerable.
