Limestor Dalkingen is a unique Roman triumphal monument on the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes and is one of its most impressive ruins.[1] Since 2005, the ancient border crossing, which was converted into a triumphal arch under Emperor Caracalla, has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the entire Roman Limes complex in Germany and is part of the open-air museum on the Rhaetian Limes, which was established in 1972, which also includes the nearby Buch[2] fort and its civilian settlement. Maria bei der Eiche, commonly called Maria Eich, is a Catholic forest and pilgrimage chapel near Ebnat in Baden-Württemberg, dedicated to Saint Mary. The present building, erected in 1925, dates back to a place of prayer built into an oak tree in 1686. It is located in the "Scheiterhau" forest area, four hundred meters west of the hiking car park on the south-western outskirts of Ebnat.
