The cairns and landscape here are still very worth seeing, although all the trail's signposts beyond the entrance sign have been removed. The trail is in a wild state in the rear section around the second cairn (which is overgrown). It's only for the adventurous.

From the final stop of bus 677 Uthlede Ellhornstr., continue on foot to Hagen Harmonie Then a little way behind the motorway bridge, turn right after the stop into the Hagener Königsmoor interest path, as it is a wetland, sturdy waterproof shoes are recommended, and you should also be particularly careful of ticks, then you continue to the observation tower, which invites you to take a rest before continuing towards Lehnstedt, then through the Düngen to the Grosser Rutenberg, where there is a memorial that reminds us how senseless war is and that people have learned nothing from it, then you continue to the Heidhofer Teiche, along which a beautiful little path leads, then through the forest to the Naturfreundehaus Brundorf, where you can also stay overnight if you register, there is also a mini golf course with a snack bar there, or you can hike like I did to Vegesack, where I live, but there is also a train station there

The entire path is obviously no longer maintained. Most of the information boards and signposts are no longer there. So please don't expect what is presented here as a "highlight".

The wild bees are currently very active there. When you see the sign, you should immediately lower your gaze to the ground. There are small holes wherever there is open earth, including directly in front of the information board (please do not step on the bees). From a little distance you can easily see all the hustle and bustle just above the ground.

Difficult terrain when wet

The Hamberger Moor is the wild and romantic part of the Teufelsmoor. Here you may encounter a shy adder or beautiful butterflies on lonely moor lakes. Beautiful "hiking trail" through the Königsmoor. Avoid the mud holes after rain, otherwise you might climb over the handlebars 😉
