Wolf Column (also Wolf Monument or Wolf Memorial) in Friedewald Forest. Information: The Wolf Memorial commemorates a hunt in 1618 when a particularly large wolf was killed. Due to war damage, the original wolf figure was replaced with a copy in 1950. The Wolf Memorial, which had been severely damaged by weathering, was re-erected as early as 1672.

The Götterfelsen in Triebischtal is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. The rock offers impressive views of the surrounding countryside and is crowned with an ornate iron cross donated in 1843 by former students of the St Afra princely school.
