Neglected for years. Tried again on April 4th, 2025. Gave up and pushed the bike back up 50 meters of elevation gain. Impassable, even with a regular bike. No way. Such a shame... who can be contacted to do something about it? According to the municipality, it's privately owned.

Not for beginners. But a great trail.

A highlight in the area requires a lot of experience and technology. If you are out and about with a cross country bike, you will reach the limits of what is possible here. To do the whole trail on an XC bike you should have a dropper post!

After the 3rd section, instead of following the hiking trail to the right, just cross the forest path and the fun continues in a challenging way down into the valley. This part is also not necessarily suitable for beginners. Steep roots etc.!!

Very nice nature trail, in places short, steep rocky passages, but everything is mobile if you dare.

For me a very demanding path, always worth a trip.

Before you plunge into the valley on this great trail, it is worth taking a short break at the hut. From there you have a great view of the Arnstein Monastery. The trail is varied with some narrow, steep turns. The last 50 meters are tough, so pushing was the order of the day for me.

Great trail down to the valley very close to the Bruchhäuser Mühle. As already described, the goal is to take it slowly the first time and arrive safely at the bottom
