Neglected for years. Tried again on April 4th, 2025. Gave up and pushed the bike back up 50 meters of elevation gain. Impassable, even with a regular bike. No way. Such a shame... who can be contacted to do something about it? According to the municipality, it's privately owned.

Natural trail that is easy to ride, no particular difficulties, the gradient is limited, but uphill is borderline with a bio-bike. In the middle there is a tree across!

One of many trails around the Schaumburg.

I mostly drive through the confectionery special. The section is quite steep and winding. In my opinion it makes more fun than the longer way. Further down the Confitrail is rocky, but significantly less steep. In my opinion, the difficulty is S1, maximum S2. At the exit, it is worth making a detour to the Sauerbrunnen in Geilnau, especially to fill up the water supply.

Before you plunge into the valley on this great trail, it is worth taking a short break at the hut. From there you have a great view of the Arnstein Monastery. The trail is varied with some narrow, steep turns. The last 50 meters are tough, so pushing was the order of the day for me.

Nice trail with tight turns. But with a little experience it is easy to drive on.
