It's nice that mountain bikers recommend this, but Komoot should really take this as a sign not to route road bikes through here. I adjusted the tagging in OpenStreetMap on Wednesday evening – it was previously just a "grade 2 track." I've now adjusted the smoothness to reflect the real conditions, but Komoot is still routing through it today. I'm curious to see how long it will take until the OSM is reimported and road bikes are no longer led into this dead end.

A pretty nice trial - not without its challenges in either direction, especially in or after rain. Of course, you cycle faster downhill and uphill you need a bit more fuel in your muscles. In late summer, however, the bigger challenge is finding the narrow, winding path - so you have to be a boy scout.

The “PumpTreck facility” for the kids is located just outside of Groß-Umstadt, so the kids can run around here “without being disturbed”.

A rock 🪨 formation that you can clearly see as devil's claw from the Goethe rock. Very special 👍🏻

Only goes downhill in one direction! Is a horse trail and not a highlight !!!

The Darmstadt Rocks are also particularly worth seeing!
