The Welden Ponds were created over 300 years ago and are part of the protected landscape areas in the Landsberg am Lech district. These are ideal for swimming, often very quiet, and offer various hiking options. The largest pond has a restaurant and a large parking lot.

Lech barrage 4 is expected to remain closed until the end of 2023 due to the construction of the fish ladder. With us, the lower pedestrian path was not blocked, but then we stood on the east side in front of the closed site fence.
