Over a wooden footbridge through the reed moor

Large blocks of solidified glacial gravel, stacked wildly on top of each other, characterize the “Devil’s Kitchen” in the valley of the eastern Günz. They come from the steep valley flank above, from where they broke off in the post-glacial period. As a rockfall or landslide, they slid down the valley on loose gravel and fine sediments of the tertiary subsoil.

Nice, short wooden footbridge over the water. You are only informed shortly before the start that cyclists are not welcome here. It would be better to announce this much earlier. I then pushed my bike over the footbridge, which was no problem as there were hardly any pedestrians around.

At the spring near Günzach there is a small park with an information board, Kneipp pool and benches.
