A few bridges were no longer intact and very shaky. But a nice change from normal paths.

In the volcanic Eifel, this outcrop would not even be worth a sign, especially since it is completely overgrown with bushes...

Along the small Tretschbach you first go downhill over three wooden bridges. At the top you have the familiar beech forest, Haimsen, woodruff and many other plants and animals. Further down it gets wetter due to the many seepage springs, here you walk on the boardwalk. Here you will find alluvial forest with alders, ash trees, ferns and many other plants and animals in the air, on the ground and in the Tretschbach. A beautiful valley in the Siebengebirge!

The path is tough, but so is the view. The Landskrone is also visible from afar, for orientation. Only on New Year's Eve should you think twice whether you want to go here... because many people have the idea, fireworks are sometimes shot across, and if something happens then it could take a while for help to arrive (fortunately that didn't happen to us back then).

The view from the plateau of the Landskrone ruins is worth the climb.
