The old beech tree (deadwood or better living tree) has a zigzag pattern as a marking, this is a habitat tree, other animals live there, fungi form on the surface.

One section of my tour that I particularly enjoyed was the trail from Herrnster Brunnen towards Hasloch. This section took us along a lovely little path directly through the forest, with the Main River always nearby. I think these types of natural trails make hiking particularly appealing. A lovely stretch for anyone who enjoys getting off the beaten track!

Such places invite us to pause, take a deep breath and appreciate the beauty of the world around us.

The most beautiful section of the route is not recommended by the tourist board, what a pity, a short and beautiful replacement for the route closure

The rocky section requires technique and courage, the rest is easy to ride.

Great single trail at Wertheim Castle. Really fun and not too difficult to ride (S1)

Unfortunately, part of the forest has been totally destroyed....a pity 😥 Where there used to be a beautiful forest, today there is only a lunar landscape. The course of the trail can sometimes only be guessed at.

Nice trail! Rocky but fun to drive. I can only recommend it, but you should slow down the first time because you lay down here quite a bit😉. PS: the drive to the trail from Marktheidenfeld is much easier than from rooms
