Hi, I'm relatively new here, but I'd like to learn more about the bike park. Is there a website for it? I'd like to check out the route without having to drive there ;)

A ravine is a path that has cut up to 10 meters deep into the surrounding terrain through centuries of use by carts and cattle as well as rainwater runoff. Here you can clearly see the wall that has been created to the right and left of the path, but it is actually unsightly due to the felled beetle spruce.

Unfortunately not so idyllic anymore due to clearing, but a nice way when it's dry.

The path is now free again and easy to walk on! So you can hike freely through the beautiful forest again. :)

Update Sept 22: everything free, open and dusty 😎 Update 24: There is now a line in the direction of travel on the left and so you no longer end up in people's gardens. Beautiful flowing trail that is most fun with a trail bike (or AM, Enduro).

Frankie's Up & Down. 700m forest path that is nice to ride on a mountain bike. The path is a welcome shortcut to avoid the many pedestrians and hikers who walk around the Glör dam at the weekend. There are no driving difficulties. Downhill on Frankie's Downhill you can shred two 180° turns, one right and one left, if you can, in Gary Fisher style of the 90s. Have lots of fun with it! How did 700m of forest road get the name "Frankie's Up and Down"? Quickly explained. This is Frankie's home. Frankie doesn't like mountain bikers. Frankie feels bothered and disturbed by mountain bikers. I think Frankie deserves that the Forstweg community bears his name.
