Beautiful spot on the Federbach stream

An old branch of the Rhine flows through here, forming a beautiful floodplain. There's always something to see and do. There's also a "floodplain adventure trail" with information boards. Not recommended in summer during mosquito season, however. It's no fun at all.

There is the Daxlanden Altrheinbrücke stop here, which is located directly on the bridge. When you start here, the first thing you see is the Federbach - one of the former courses of the Rhine. This runs in the Rappenwörth polder. The Fritschlach nature reserve then begins behind the dam, which runs along the polder with the Federbach. There are the fringe lakes, orchards and wide reedbeds. The old Federbache runs through the nature reserve
