The Mendlingtal adventure world in Göstling an der Ybbs is a fascinating excursion destination that combines nature, culture and history in a unique way. The theme trail "On the Timber Trail" is particularly exciting, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of traditional timber rafting and forestry. Along the trail, you can not only enjoy the impressive landscape of the Mendlingtal, but also experience first-hand how tree trunks used to be transported over the water.

The path through the Wasserlochklamm leads up past five waterfalls. The highlight is definitely the two-stage Schleierfall. Here the water plunges 67 meters down.

The Dürrenstein, at 1878 m high, is located in the UESCO World Heritage Site of the Dürrenstein Wilderness Area. The 11th stage of the Luchstrail leads from Göstling over the Dürrenstein to Lunz/See. It is a lonely mountain with a very long climb. There is the possibility of spending the night at the Ybbstalhütte to split up the long climb.

After heavy rainfall, the large waterfalls are magnificent in the Unesco Global Nature Park.

Great summit - in summer and in winter!

Beautiful summit cross - good footwear, which unfortunately is not the case for many hikers here, as many go up by train. However, the way to the summit is very rocky and rubble.
