조각과 회화의 거장 알로이스 리겔레(Alois Rigele)는 그의 뛰어난 작품들에서 고전주의와 아르누보의 공존을 구현합니다. 특히 "사슴과 소녀"라는 조각상은 우아함과 고상함의 인상적인 표현을 전달합니다. 흐비에즈도슬라프 광장(Hviezdoslav-Platz)에 전시된 이 조각상은 리겔레의 기술적 숙련도뿐만 아니라 인간과 동물 간의 감정과 관계를 포착하는 그의 능력을 보여줍니다. 그의 작품의 세밀한 정확성과 조화로운 구성은 인간의 형태와 자연에 대한 그의 깊은 이해를 증명합니다. 실내 조각과 입상 외에도 리겔레는 수많은 초상화 판과 기념비를 제작했으며, 이는 대상의 개성과 본질을 생생하게 표현합니다. 하지만 리겔레는 조각에서만 자신의 표현을 찾은 것이 아니라 벽화에서도 그의 흔적을 남겼습니다. 이는 프레스부르크(Pressburg) 예수회 교회의 화려한 성가대석에서 볼 수 있습니다.

The elegant fountain directly in front of the Presidential Palace draws all eyes with its clear water jets and ornate bronze sculptures. Surrounded by manicured green spaces and benches, it invites you to take a refreshing break while admiring the palace's magnificent façade. An ideal photo stop and place to take a breather on your tour of Bratislava.

The fountain with a double tank made of white material is decorated in the upper part with a sculpture depicting a sitting girl with a doe. The sculpture is made of reddish stone. On the north side, at the girl's foot, there is an inscription engraved: "A. Rigele 1938, R. Kuhmayer 1942". The sculpture is the work of the famous Bratislava sculptor Alojz Rigele, who, however, did not have time to finish it. After his death, another famous Bratislava sculptor, Robert Kuhmayer, completed it in 1942. The Zwergenloch - on the southern slope of the Hundsheimer Berg - can be reached from the hiking trail via a steep climb in just a few minutes.

The Güntherhöhle can be reached from the tourist trail via a steep climb in a few minutes. The path is also suitable for active dogs.

To the west of the Zwergelloch lies the most famous cave in the Hundsheim Mountains, the Güntherhöhle with the bone gap, both of which are parts of what was originally a single cave room. For reasons of cave and bat protection, the entrances had to be closed. To the south of the cave, in the so-called bone gap, fossil remains of the woolly rhinoceros were found. Most caves do not have natural exits. The surface of the rock also shows hardly any karst features, which is why the caves were discovered late. An exception is the 17 m deep and 41 m long “Zwerglloch” on the southern slope of the Hundsheimer Berg.
