산타 마리아 데글리 안젤리(Santa Maria degli Angeli)는 리베라(Rivera) 위쪽의 알페 포파(Alpe Foppa)에 있는 인상적인 예배당입니다. 유명한 건축가 마리오 보타(Mario Botta)가 디자인한 이 예배당은 현대 건축과 영적인 평온함을 결합합니다. 눈에 띄는 보행자 다리가 건축물까지 극적으로 이어지며 티치노(Tessin)의 산악 세계를 조망할 수 있게 합니다. 내부에는 예술가 엔초 쿠키(Enzo Cucchi)의 강렬한 색채 작품들이 감동을 선사합니다. 이 예배당은 등산객과 문화 애호가들에게 인기 있는 목적지입니다. 자연, 예술, 성찰을 독특한 방식으로 결합하며 티치노의 건축적 하이라이트 중 하나입니다.

Alpe Bolla is a mountain pasture at 1,129 m above sea level with an alpine refuge located in the lower Val Colla, above the town of Cadro, Canton Ticino. It is easily reached from Cadro, Cureggia or Brè-Aldesago in just over an hour's walk on an easy marked path through the woods. Capanna Alpe Bolla offers meals and drinks but reservations are recommended due to the limited space available.

One of our favorite hikes in Ticino! Scenic driveway with the post bus from Magadino. Short climb from the Alpe di Neggia (unfortunately closed), magnificent view from Monte Gambarogno and a beautiful, comfortable descent to Alpe Cedullo (be sure to stop off). Mostly through Buchenwald down to Indemini and with the post bus (note the timetable!) back to Magadino.

From Monte Gambarogno (1734 m) you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Gulf of Locarno and Ascona seen from the left bank of the Verbano. The summit can be reached on foot from Alpe di Neggia, which can be reached by car or public transport. Thanks to its relatively low altitude, this mountain is a possible excursion destination almost all year round. On the return you can take the path to the Church of Saint Anne, which has valuable frescoes from the 14th-15th centuries. It was a strenuous tour. At the small bar on Alpe Bolla, a man was setting up the bar after the winter break. We asked him if we could have a drink with him. He said he doesn't open the economy until April 1st, but he's happy to serve us something. So we ordered two fine Gazosa lemonades, a Ticino specialty. The friendly host talked to us for a while about local facts. He grew up in the area and is bilingual, so we were able to speak to him in Swiss German. We also talked about the water problem, as there is less and less rain and snow. His water source is still running well. He has also set up a drinking place for dogs, which his Bergamasque dog uses. If you want to go on the tour with a dog, you should take enough water with you. We didn't pass any streams that had water. In the end, Wirt didn't want to take any payment because he wasn't even open yet. Of course it didn't work that way. We can highly recommend the mountain restaurant with the friendly innkeeper.
